Parts Cross Reference different models, years?
I think my AAM for my 2005 ML350 needs to be replaced and I am going to get from a car wrecker. From what years and models will the AAM work on my 2005 ML350? How interchangeable are they? Is there a place to cross reference ML parts with other years and models like 320, 500 models?

In my 2005 ML350 the key fob operates only the front door to open but can lock all four doors. The centre console switch also seems not to unlock the other 3 doors either. Sometimes later when driving for a while all systems seem to work. It is intermittent.

Try this. With the key out of the ign., remove relay #23 and reinsert it a few times and then see if the problem recurs.
If so, remove relay #23 and replace it with relay #17 and see if the problem is corrected.

Thanks so much!!! I have a friend who has a scraped 2000 ML230 ; took the r elays from his car, removed the Fk123, put it in my car and BINGO all is good, took about 3 minutes. Easy peasy !!
I do have another problem you might be able to help with and it concerns windshield wiper speeds. There are three speeds, The middle speed doesn't work and when you change from one speed to another the wiper stops in the middle of the window. Thanks in advance
