W163 ML 270 CDI facelift A/C problems, blow only hot ait.

Hello everyone. I have that problem. I changed the A/C module from middle but same problem. Blow only hot Air even if the fan set 0. Sometimes it work after i disconnect the battery for the night. Maybe AAM fail? Or battery?

That is not the problem. 95% of the time it is a faulty Blend Door Motor which is under the instrument panel.

I am going to work shortly and will return in the afternoon and will assist you then.

Your code B1201 shows that the Blend Boor Motor is faulty, just like I previously said.

Did your front carpets get wet at any time?

In the mean time, remove fuse #4 in kick panel fuse box.

You have two problems. You have to replace the Blend Door Motor and a new Blower Motor.

If I were you, I would replace the resistor which is attached to the Blower Motor.

I have the same exact problem. Changed the resistor and the AC controls and still, blower motor always on full speed and always just hot air...

My car throws the 1202 blend door code as well but what I'm trying to fix now is the blower motor always on full.
