Why do you want to remove the covers? The bulbs go in through the back.

Do a search in the archives. Its extremely easy to remove entire headlight assembly. Once you remove the trim piece under the headlight, simply remove the three hex bolts holding the housing and gently remove the entire headlight assembly.

Although the bulbs can be accessed without removal, it is so much easier to totally take out headlight and replace bulbs. This way you can also insure the bulbs are seated properly in the holders so you don't have an aiming issue.
