Newbie Question

Hello. I am new to the forum so pardon any rookie boo-boos that I will make. Anyway, I own an ML350. Question: Are there authentic MB 5-spoke 17" chrome wheels? Couldn't find any on the Web, only non-MB stuff. TIA.

Thanks for the reply. It's really weird but my sales rep said that the chrome wheels that came with my truck was "factory-installed" and that it just didn't show up on the invoice. I was charged and add of $1200 for these.

Salesmen are liars. I deal with thier garbage all the time, they don't care what they have to do or say to sell you a car.

That's really the funny (sad) part. The car was already ordered. I had already paid the non-refundable 'reservation' fee ($1000). I was already 'sold' and then he tells me. It wasn't the deal-maker. More like a kick in the **** on my way out, after buying their product. How much would it cost to have your wheels 'chromed' anyway? Maybe he did me a favour and got me in, cheap?

You refer to your "sales rep". Did you buy from a MB dealership? If you did I'd go back to the general manager and explain the rip off. Sounds like a customer ordered the chrome job (not an MB option) and then backed out of the deal. Since this sounds like an unexpected add-on by the salesnake I'd demand my extra money back!
