Radio code. I know this must come up alot
I bought a used radio from ebay for my 2004 ML350. I went to my local Benz dealer in St. Petersburg and he told me the vin that was in the Ebay ad was not correct. I did send a message to the Ebay seller but have yet to hear back from them. I did hear, at one time,the code could be accessed from the stamped code on the radio. Hopefully that is correct and someone could help me. The embossed code is S/NO. AL 4110 1 06 44872 I did not know what forum to post this in because I feel most Mercedes radios have codes. I was able to get the correct vin# it is 4JGAB54E22A208478

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately that is the code the dealer gave me and it just says 'WAIT'. I leave it on for 15-20 minutes and it still says WAIT. I think I have another radio in my garage. I'll give that one a shot.

That's the code that comes up for that radio serial number. IIRC it can take 2 or 3 hours for the radio to resume operating
