I test drove an ML in Lakeland, Florida. Let me say, the quality in my opinion, is better then the CLS! I have a 2002 ML350. This is one hot SUV.... Here are the pics.... sorry for the quality my camera phine.... Handles better then the BMW X5...seriously!

the ride is a little more stiff then the current ML. I know a women that works at Mercedes-Benz in New Jersey. She invited me to test the ML (focus group) I will see the 2007 S-class (w221) in June!! They will go on sale in April/May. BTW, I also saw pictures of the new G-class which is awsome.

The new ML (500 stnrd.)has airmatic, which I think I had on "sport" or "firm" setting. It also has far better fit and finish then even the Touareg, RX330 or X5. The ML is very quiet with just minor wind noise at 80mph+. Seats are very, very comfortable and there is no more nasty plastic peices. Just wait....the next 2 years, MB will be what it used to! OT. Also, just to tell you, the new S-class will have a total of 19 airbags including something like an airbag in the hood for peds. I will post pics when I go......(S-class maybe in april!!!!) BTW AlBoston, keep your eyes open for "cars in camo" because MB is testing the new S,G and facelifted SL in the New England area, specifically Boston because the poor roads.

(you said april in your other post)
And it will be on the road in April/May 2007? or 2006?
You're lucky to have the chance to know all this and test drive cars before release. Make sure you keep in contact with your 'contact' at MB and keep us posted on future models

yes, I will see the new S in April, hopefully. The release depends on MB working out some problem with US radio wave regulations or something like that. I will keep in touch........

I really like the new G. It will still retain the boxy look to an extent. To me, it kinda looks like a Ford Expedition (boxy shape). I think it looks better then the Range Rover because it is a more balanced design. The side profile of the new G will have the same slanted line running the length of the vehicle as in the new SLK. Overall, the design is very modern, but I think MB tried to retain some of the current G in its design (a very good thing).
A very good website for you to look at is: www.carspyshots.net
I will keep you informed about the W221.
