Go to mbusa.com and build an ML500 according to the colors and options you wish to have. Then, select the financing tab. There, you will be able to play around with the numbers and calculate the monthly price (either lease or finance) using different amounts for down payments. Good luck.

yes, I know, but they are not always accurate.
Some "real life" numbers are always helpful.

The ML you are considering can't be very well equipped, mine had an MSRP of over 65K. Another way to bring the lease pmts down with MBCC is to place a refundable deposit on it. The savings are far greater than the interest you would earn on the money. I reduced the lease pmt about 100 per month with a 9k deposit. Another thing you should think about is the fact that a lease makes no sense at all unless the vehicle is a deductable business expense.

That is not true. The ML is deductable based on it's gross weight and truck designation. Leases and loans are one in the same, just different programs. Tax credits are not the only reason to use a lease. Buying a portion of the car (including sales tax), while your money is invested until the buyoff is only ONE example of lease advantage. It all comes down to your finances and WHEN you choose to pay for the ride. If you have expendable money now, then buy it. If you choose to use your money to make more, then lease. That is a simplified argument just to make a point. In the future, think before you speak and understand that each person has a different situation.

Lastly, as far as "real life" numbers. Go to MBUSA website and look for their lease specials. Those are set in stone, so to speak and will be the best deals around. They will get you a MUCH better deal than buying!! The catch is that the model you want must be the one that the deal is on. This is a simple tool that MBUSA uses to manage inventory.

First post on the MB board.

I guess an opinion of well equipped varies among individuals. I just ordered what I considered a "well equipped" 2006 ML500.
Pewter metalic
Black Leather
Siries Satellite Radio
317 Comfort Pkg
319 Lighting Pkg
323 Air Suspension
324 Sunroof Pkg
326 Premium Pkg

MSRP $59,420

I'm also leasing the vehicle for business purposes. In my case 39 mo lease, 18,000 miles per year. To get a payment in the $650 range with that mileage and time would require a very large down.

Anyway, looking forward to my first MB.

Does anyone know what month the 2007 will be delivered

Tim

So, just order one and wait a bit. This way you will have the exact stuff and colors that you want. Also you can try to have them expand their search to other areas.
