Hands Free Kit

Hello Fellow W164 owners ..... can anyone recommend a good bluetooth hands free kit that interfaces with the command system?

From what I understand only the MB kit and phone will interface.

The best system is the factory dealer installed Hands-Free system with cradle or Bluetooth interface. You can use approved retail handsets with it now too. Why are you looking for something else?

I've had the Hands Free System in My ML and I think it's the best feature out there, it wasn't cheap but worth every penny!!!! I didn't get the bluetooth cradle because I wanted my phone to charge in the cradle. I have the E815 and it's a great phone and easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a Voic Control Module but it's a great system and no problems at all, Can you believe that with a Mercedes!!!!!

are our cars pre wired for the factory hands free kit?
how much do you think it would cost to get the factory set up?
where should I go?

Go to www.mbusa.com then build your own for accessory parts pricing. Allow 1.5 labor hours and shop around as many dealers as needed to get a reasonalble price quote. Remember that dealers are free to set their own pricing so be patient.

After that, go to www.wireless4mb.com to choose the handset and connection solution that you prefer (cradle or Bluetooth).

In the end, you should expect to pay $1500 or so including a compatible handset. This may seem like a lot but you could pay almost the same for an aftermarket system that is not integrated into your car like the MB system is.
