Took Delivery Of ML350 This Weekend!

Well, the dealer made me what looked to be a good offer so I bit! This past Friday night, my wife and I picked up her new SUV. She was really excited as this is her first NEW car and it's loaded! Here I was wanting the ML63 at first but don't think I can afford that at this moment and then wanted the ML500 but the wife wanted the ML350 since it was available at the time and the ML500 wasn't, can't argue if she wants to save me money!

So here's the deal I got and I was wanting to know what you all think...

2006
Comfort, Sun Roof, AirMatic Suspension, Premium, Lighting, Entertainment Packages

Plus, Sirius Sat. Radio, Parktronic, Power Liftgate, Tow Hitch, Heated Front Seats, Tri-Zone Climate Control.

I got them $2K below MSRP with a 39 month lease, 12K miles for $746 per month with $4250 as down payment (part of the July Summer event) This includes tax, out the door.

So what do ya think? I think it's a good deal for the next 3 years/3months.

I'll post pics later.

Nick

PS This thing rides like it's floating on clouds!

You should really enjoy your new ML. Your numbers were interesting. My ML500 with a 62,800 MSRP costs me on a 4 year lease with no down payment about a hundred bucks more than you are paying including PA sales tax of 9%. No sales events were taking place last Sept when I took delivery. Mine was also an ordered car to my spec.Lease is with MBCC.

Transmission/Brake/Lease

I have my ML350 for 2 months now.

I just took it in this weekend to have the transmission reprogrammed because of the rough 2nd to 1st gear shift. This had been problem if you read other posts.

My brake was "mushy" and had some play. They have to order a new Master Cylinder for it.

I had my tires rotated at the same time and now there is a bumpy bumpy noise at 30 miles/hour or more. Could be tire not balanced. I have to check that once I bring my car to change the brake master cylinder.

CRAZY! MERCEDES? Hhmmmm.... But, it's covered by Warranty.

My car was used at only 2,200 miles (practically new). I got it $7K below MSRP if new. Lease was excellent at close to $650/month for 39 months, no down payment. I think they wanted to get rid of it since it's been sitting there for several months.

Otherwise, car is OKAY.... NOT what I had expected! Good luck.

looks great! I've never seen a 350 with the standard 17's with airmatic before, it sits so much nicer than the standard suspension. congrats..

Real nice and shiny, but it is crying out for some bigger/better wheels! I do like though!

Great purchase Nick! Congrats to you and your wife on the new ML. It looks like we now have 3 forum members from Fresno (you, me, Kevin M. from the CLS55 forum), so a mini-GTG seems to be in order. I know I tried getting in contact with you a couple times when I first moved here a year ago, but we never connected. Shoot me a PM if you have a chance. Take care.

Thanks all for the nice comments! The ML drives great! It's so smooth and quiet and so far (crossing fingers) there hasn't been a hint of transmission problems. When shifting down, coming to a stop, it's very smooth.

Blake:
Yeah, we're gonna have to meet up some time soon! I've been busy with work but I'll let ya know when I get time and PM ya. Would love to see Kevin's CLS55 in person too! Hope you & the fam are doing good and enjoying Fresno!
