V8 Engine Offerings

Anyone hear if/when the ML and R will get the 550 V8 (or 450 V8 from the GL? I am puzzled by current V8 offerings. Why have a 450 in the heaviest truck? Why have a 450 at all? Why have'nt ML or R gotten 550?

2013 650i Coupe, 2010 IS250 AWD, 1999 S500

A 2007 Ml450 for the same price as the 2007 ML350? Something doesn't make sense here.

We can only speculate--either there is a V8 coming out this model year, or the press release got the whole thing wrong and meant to say ML350. I guess now that it's called into question, the information is not worth mentioning.
