Can I add the Airmatic over premium package II after delivery?
Hello,
I went to the dealer to buy 2007 ML350, but the dealer said if I want package III, it will take about three months to get deliverd.
My question is that if I can buy package II and add the Airmatic later?
and how much will it cost me?
Is that worth three month waiting?
I could have one that has package II + interior upgrade + lighting upgrade in few days.
What should I do?

I have never heard of anyone adding Airmatic after delivery, post-factory build....
If I were you I would order the car exactly the way that you want it - and with Airmatic - and wait for delivery. IMO it is worth it.

I'd like airmatic too, without having to buy $10 grand in options that cost MB about $1000. but you also get dynamic steering and shock absorber management (can't rmember names) in pkg 3. I don't think a dealer can add these things -- there are many electronics behind these physical options, and I hear they have enough problems when the factor installs these. risk. just wait and get what you want. We are such a got-to-have-it-now culture, which just drives up profit for the industry.

Wait on a ML320 CDI is about 2 months. I ordered this past Saturday. Got the confirmation yesterday (10/23) of a 12/18 build completion date. Dealer hopes to deliver between Christmas and New Year.
