New EPA milage for ML350 .. compared to you?

http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calcu...ML350%204matic

Old Results: 17/21, 19 combined
New Results: 15/20, 17 combined.

Seems to me people have been reporting closer to the old results. What kind of milage are 2007 ML350 (or even 2006) getting?

It depends how you drive it. I get between 20 and 21 on the hwy as long as the traffic is moving. Even at 80+ I still seem to average around 20. In the city if I take it easy I average around 16~17. But if I start to get a little heavy footed coming away from lights the mpg drops to around 15 real quick. So far over the last 17000 miles I have averaged 19.8. ( I do about 75% hwy 25% city). In OC with all the traffic and traffic signals I would expect you will see the low end.

That's pretty close. I get 16-17 urban/suburban and 20 or so on the highway.

BMW E30. I've turned to the dark side.
I checked a few customers' cars against my ML500 when I had it. just based on the average in the trip computer. ML350's were in the 15-18MPG range for combined drving, my 500 was at 14mpg combined.

I have checked the mileage on my ML350 for 10 thousand miles now, and ignoring what the computer estimates, I have averaged a consistent 16/17 MPG.

ML 350 -06
I've got around 16-17 MPG when driving mostly in the city and 21 MPG when driving mostly on highway (calculated after filling it), but on highway I've seen the computer to show even over 25 MPG.
After 4000 miles my average is 19 MPG.
