I own a 06 ML with birds eye maple finish and all leather steering wheel. I'de like to upgrade to the wooden wheel but only see it available with the burl walnut finish. Does anyone know if it is available or has anyone ever seen a maple/leather wheel on an ML. I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

Thanks Kevin. I see it's a custom made wheel with the ash leather. I'm sending correspondence to the seller to see if it comes in Black but I'm really wondering if Mercedes actually makes one. The dealer is willing to upgrade me to a wood wheel due to a bad experience I had with their service department but if they can't find a true mercedes part I may be out of luck. Thanks for your help.

Yes but don't give them that much credit... The reason they're upgrading me is because they tried sticking a USED steering wheel in my new car as a replacement under warentee. It's a long story but I was very surprised not to mention extremely disapointed that a Mercedes dealer would even try such a stunt but I guess they're all the same. Maybe I need to buy a Rolls before I can expect to be treated appropriatly? I dunno

Thanks Kent, I just checked them out. I like this one with the wood on the bottom too. The MB walnut wheel only has wood on the top. This is nice.
