Mud Flaps
Well, that is why you don't buy them from the dealership. You can get the same parts (from Mercedes) online and save quite a bundle if you do a little research. eBay, dealerfit, etc. have helped level the playing field a little bit at least and given us some relief from the often huge dealer markups!

By the way, thanks for the suggestion regarding my SAT radio's activation.

I haven't bought them yet, but I HAVE purchased accessories for my previous Volvos from them and they are as advertised. They shipped quickly and were, well, simply the EXACT same as the dealer accessories but cheaper!
Agree about DealerFit. I was able to find some OEM front and rear flaps on Ebay for $225. They were pretty easy to install -- took maybe 2.5 hours. Despite the MB instructions, which must have been written on an Enigma machine
, you do not need to remove any of the wheels. All you need is a short angled Phillips screwdriver that will fit between the tire and wheel well to tighten the screws. IMHO, MB ought to consider installing the mud flaps on every ML at the factory ...
good luck,

Its also have 2 "T" brackets (one for each side). According to the manual, the "T" brackets should be mount under or next to the muffler. Is this correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
