How little can you pay for a ML350?

A few years ago, some wonderful readers here gave some pricing advice. They said to demand (put in a nicer way) a couple of thousand off the E class (was it 5k?). Turns out, the local dealer accepted my bid, which was based on the readers here.

How about the ML? Is it poorly discounted? With a MSRP (with metallic paint) and few options $45,500, how low can you go? Some sources, like Carsdirect.com suggests that the E class is more heavily discounted than the ML.

For one, it's very difficult to find one at $45,500...that being said, pricing is getting pretty aggressive b/c of the new face-lift coming out in 2009.

ML320CDI 2008 all options inc air suspension
If you can find a vehicle on the lot that has what you want, then you can always deal under sticker price. If you want to order a vehicle then you will be paying pretty much full price minus any MB incentive programs in effect at the time.

You really think in this hohum buyers market economy a dealer won't discount a standard production 09 model 2-3 months into production?

More like, they may not discount them as much as 2008 models that the dealer is still trying to move.

you should be able to get a TON off if you find the right salesman bc as stated earlier the facelift is due soon and that means all current one's must go
