Hello Forum Members
New guy here.. we just got an 08ML320 for my wife. So far I have installed some 5300K HID kit, and some LED tail lights, future mods include 20" or 22" AMG wheels.. and maybe a computer programer.
We are in love with this truck..

Got them out of ebay, dont recall the brand.. is one of those new digital super slim ballast... the kit is very nice, i have had aftermarket Hids for the last 6 years and this one is very nice.. the down side is that i had to do all kind of mods to make them work... and still ended up with the burn bulb on the dash...
Anyone knows how to fix this? I tried buying one of those HID load resistors.. but did not work..
Overall im happy with the outcome.. but as some of you might know.. i ended up with a relay kit and a bulb housing under the hood... I will post some pics of the set up soon..

Congrats on the new diesel... Mileage will soon begin to impress you more as the engine breaks in.
As for the bulb indication, something tells me that the system is not recognizing the HID kit as a factory install, and you may need to go to the dealer to have something reprogrammed or turned on??....
Anyways, these trucks run great, and the forum support is first class.

Anyone out their with some aftermarket 20" or 22"?? I want to upgrade but for something that looks and rides well.. nothing crome or black.. im looking for some silver wheels..

Laredo...I think there is a thread from a member selling his 20" AMG wheels on here.
Question....was the taillight install pretty easy? I keep thinking about buying the ebay LED taillights, but haven't had a chance to see what is involved. Thanks!

Just order some wheels.. they should be here by Thursday. I will post pics once i get them installed. Below is a pick of the ones ordered.

Those wheels look really nice... Sort of a SLR look
