Brake Light Warning

2006 ML500. Info center constantly telling me that my right brake light is out, replace with bulb from left. Vice-Versa. Right and Left. I've replaced all bulbs. What is the problem?

Make sure the bulbs were the "long life" design from the dealer or very reputable source.
Check for corrosion at the bulb socket.

I just went through my passenger side right mirror turn signal going inop. after 2 bulb assembly changes by the dealer, and on the third time, they found corrosion at the plug. So far problem solved.

i heard that there were issues with the electrical wiring in the headlights and taillights. my service advisor told me about it and how they had to re-solder the wiring.
