I received my LEDs today, thanks Michael.
At first, I have no idea how to take off the OEM ones. After doing some research, I still couldn't find a DIY thread with pictures. I've never done any mods myself, but this time I decided to give it a try. I changed the parking lights and the yellow side markers to LEDs. The side markers are fine, took me about 10 minutes each side. The parking lights really pissed me off, especially the one on the driver's side. My hands stuck and I had to call my friend to come by and help me out.. It's really difficult for me to do this.. Driver's side, 1 hour 20 minutes; Passenger's side, 40 minutes.
Btw, the LEDs look great, the side markers, perfect!

I got them from Michael on this forum. You can find the thread in the w164 section, easy to find. =)

Your pictures look good. I got my city light LEDs from AZN also. I took a look at the process of changing them (the drivers side especially as you note) and had my shop change them for me. Worth it I think to avoid the same frustration.

Do you have OEM lighting package? I can't tell if your fogs are oval or not (for the cornering fogs with the lighting package). Are you planning to change your fog bulbs? If so, post some pics of what you do. I'm not really pleased with the bulbs now that the others are changed. Thanks.

Hi, I have the lighting package and the fog lights are oval. I'm used to drive without fog lights and the oem headlight is good enough for me. However, I might change them as soon as I find some good ones. =)

Hey troy, I ordered fog bulbs and highbeam bulbs on ebay, and they'll be arriving tomorrow.
Fog: H11 sylvania siverstar
Highbeam: H7 sylvania silverstar ultra
The silverstar ultra burns out quick, but I only used my highbeams twice since I had my ML for one and half years, it won't bother me.

She is my girlfriend, haha
The wheels are from ebay, not genuine mb wheels. I am running 285/35/22, handling is much better but uncomfortable.. tires are really noisy

Great pics - i ordered the same LED City lights as well, have not put them in yet. I could not get my fat hands in behind the stock headlight housing to twist ou the little city light plug. Is that how you did it or did you remove the complete headlight assembly?

Also, I love the white side markers, but are those not supposed to be yellow by law? Where did you get those?

My 320 Bluetec does NOT have the lighting package and I did upgrade the headlights with the Mtec kit (looks great) and I also did the fogs with the DTM kit which is very nice as well and about $220 cheaper! Now I just have to figure out how to get those damn city lights changed...

Hi gordonmenninger, I'm sorry for replying so late.
I used a piler(the long one) to twist the bulbs, I didn't remove the complete assembly.

I'm not sure if it is against the law to change the side markers, but I didn't have any problems with any cops passed by me. The side markers are the same as the parking lights, which are 194s. I bought them from AZN Optics(Michael) on this forum.

Good luck with your parking lights!
