Yea, the new one looks much better.
Was that a plug and play swap? I don't understand why they use two different panels anyway.

About the rear entertainment system: I looks better than the OEM one. Where did you get it?

ML guys are somewhat less mod infected than the owners of other MB vehicles. Don't know why that is. But I'll open my own mod thread soon... I'm also modding a lot on my rig (exterior & interior). But I got to get all the parts together, before I start the process...

Chris, are you going to have it lowered? I finalized all my orders except for the springs, as I have 2 kids. I don't want them to have too harsh of ride back there. I got the same headlights, but the one with xenon pre-installed. Keep us updated with pics, mine goes in for some paint touch ups and the intalls next week.

Chris,

I am not familiar with the OEM screens. Are yours oem or aftermarket? Cost?
Installation... straightforward or better to have a shop do this?

They are aftermarket. Much better since they include DVD and games with handcontrols. So all screens can show a different thing. Very easy to install. Just remove the back of the seat with the 2 screws in bottom of it and just pull it downwards and the hole back is cleared.

Chris,

I am also interested in this but I have active headrest (it is moving on button). It could be more difficult installation but it is still double ..

I am wondering if you can share link where you bought those (you can also send PM) along with other parts ...

Honesty speaking, I am looking for DVD which it could be mounted in the middle seat and I am wondering where I can find it (I think you have it but ...)

Excellent work ...

The screen in the middle is MB original.

What is it you all call "active headrest" ? What is that never heard of it? Only thing is "neck pro"! Is that what you mean?

who did you get the command unit from....I am thinking aftermarket for my 2007 ML350, but I like the simplicity of OEM parts, as they offer a better plug and play install.

Can you post link to the ebay seller please

as well a link to the climate control unit, was this an ebay item as well ?

your project is very well done

Cheers

Did you install the headlights yet? I recieved mine, but didn't install them yet. My friend bought some bmw e46 depo/hid kit from the same guy and I saw the beam pattern tonight. It was horrible, now I'm afraid even to go through the trouble of putting them on or not. No returns either, just exchange for the same thing. I'm dropping off the car at the shop for the all the body work, but I'm not too sure about the lights now. Can you post some beam patterns if you've installed them already, Thanks.
