I commend you for your drive to mod the ML.
However, why didn't you just buy an ML63 or Ml550 to begin with and save yourself on the upgrades. Not trying to sound like a snob here, just saying. I mean you have an E55 and an S550, so money doesn't seem to be the problem.
Just genuinely curious.

That is the most common coment I get...Answer is Eazy and for me kind of obvious..First of all..There is NO ML63 AT ALL here in Sweden that is white. All are black or silver. Mine cost about $26500 and a BLACK ML63 is about $50000. I guess you can sum quit eazy on why I do this?
AND I buy the mods very cheap since i am in the business.

Anyways, yes here in the states an ML350 is $48,000 and an ML63 is $100,000. You get A LOT for the money though.
However, I believe in Sweden you get taxed for cars that have a lot of horsepower.

Hello Chris the Swede,
First off, your ML looks super!! Very nice job. my favorite part is the brabus front spoiler i think that makes the car!
I have a couple questions for you if i may:
1. i see you added the chrome trim to your foglights BUT they seem to be OEM and not the thicker aftermarket ones found on some sites like formymercedes.com. Did you buy the chrome separate or did you buy the whole OEM black/chrome foglight cover? I bought the thicker ones and i am not happy with them.
2. was installing the wood steering wheel plug-in-play? If not, what was the extent of modification you needed to do?
Lastly just wanted to share with you since i think you can appreciate this. I changed out my door pins for some black ones. see this link:

Thanks!! have a good day.

So you 'have' or 'had' the nice chrome ones in stock? You own a shop or something?
These are the ones i have: http://www.ebay.com/itm/W164-ML-GL-0...457c23&vxp=mtr
They are too fat.....i want yours
Yes. i saw you changed out your door pins too. Best mod to do. It adds a little style to the inside.

Chris
do you have the exact details of the DRLs you are using in the Brabus front spoiler? I have the same spoiler on mine but have DRLs mounted behind the grills which doesn't look as good.
I remember having trouble finding some that matched the curve of the grill mesh so would be interested to learn how you did yours

Amazing job! This is so helpful for everyone out there.
Chris, where did you get the door pins from? Was it, as others say, a matter of unscrewing the old and screwing in the new ones? I need to replace the ugly ones (why would they put suck an ugly item in the car?) with either something like the ones you put or the Mercedes ones that are all over ebay for like $27 (from ? Japan?

Chris, do you remember if the rear door pins were snap-on?
I replaced my front ones, relatively simple to do, unscrew the old, ugly ones, and then screw on the new ones.
I have read that the rear ones are a different story. They do not screw off. I am hesitating attempting the rear door pins...
