Preliminary pics, AMG 22 reps and more
Finally got the car back from bodyshop. Had to get some body pannels repainted and at the same time got the following things installed on the 2006 350.
OEM skid plates front and back and bumper sill
OEM running boards
Schat exhaust tips, goes over the stock ovals and screws on. Ingenious design.
Depo led headlamps with bi-xenon hid
22" AMG replicas 22x10 et50 all around
Lowered with H&R springs
LED tail lamps/sent back defective
New 2009 grille not installed yet, can't make up my mind
Sorry for the crappy pics, can't locate the charger to the DSLR

The wheels and ride height look perfect! What sized tires do you have? Any quality issues with the replica wheels? I've heard of many owners with vibration issues at highway speeds.

I'm lowering my 09 ML550 later this month with Eibach springs that will drop it 1.4". How much did you H&R's drop your ML and have you noticed any difference in the ride and handling? Did you also get a 4-wheeel alignment after it was lowered?

Thanks, no vibrations at all speeds far as I can tell. Long as they balance it well mated to good tires, they should be fine. I have on Perrelli scorpions at 285/35/22.
I went with h&r because it was lower it 1.9/1.5, front/rear. I wanted a bit agressive look. It looks pretty level than I thought, I couldn't imagine it any higher in the front. The allignment came out very well, except the camber in the rear. Just have rotate them front to rear at times. That's why I want the same sizes on all fours.
Didn't get to weigh the wheels as I had them delivered straight to the body shop for the reveal I figure they're only 5 spokes, so how bad can they be I really liked the simplicity of the AMG design from the ml63/gl550, so went with them.

The setup of the wheels and tires, $2500. Seen better deals on EBAY, but I wanted the Pirellis. There's about ~5 venders on EBAY carring them for $1200 for the wheels and up. My buddy at the body shop did all te work together, son I'm not sure about the cost of the spring & install. I just have lowered springs, no AIRMATIC. The ride quality is what's expected for what it is, lowering springs with stock shocks. It's not too bad to my 2 kids haven't complained yet I drive very little, so I can sacrafice ride over looks.
On a different note, I had the hood and hatch repainted and left all the emblems off. I kinda want to put some other ones on besides stock. Would black round AMG or Carlsson look like I'm trying too hard?

Are the 22" tires noisy at highway speeds? No vibrations at high speeds? I'm impressed for sure.
The wheels look so large, it makes your car look like a matchbox car! Unreal

Thank you gents, and the replacement tails are on the way. The first set was defective, I hope the new ones are good. The noise is fine, which is up to the brand of tires you buy. No vibrations so far, but does ride bit bumpy. I've had some Falkens in the past and were loud. I the the pirelli's on my c300 the past and was quite good.

I just got the regular led version/no smoke. Still waiting for my replacement one, and going to put on the new grille as well. Someone broke one of the tabs on the grill that attatches to the upper body. It's the 09 version with bigger squares and gloss black w/chrome slats. Also, don't like the 6k hid color too much and will be changed out to a 4300k soon as well. I've had few cars with oem hid and must have gotten used to it.
Anyone want to buy my wheels? I might go back to some 20's, bit too much for the kids. Since it's lowered with just spring, but on stock or airmatic it should be fine. I'm in SoCal so if local, pick up is fine.

It has only 3 tpms, I'm guesssing one is missing from a flat from a while back. No errors tho, I just reset in the menu. I'll include the tpms, my replacement came with them. Their Pirelli all weather scorpion zero's, I barely have 100 miles on them. I only drive less than 20 miles a day. I'm Chino, Ca but I guess I can ship. I have the boxes the 29's came in and seem to be the same size. Let me know, I paid $2500 new. Make me an resonable offer.

Here's some updated pics with the 20's, grill and tail lights. And the pics of the 22" wheels/tire/tpms for sale, local pickup preferred(shipping ok as well).
The wheels for sale.
The reason for sale.

Actually, those 20" look better, in my opinion, than the 22"s. More appropriate for the car. Good job.
What size tires do those 20" have on?
My 2009 ML550 has the 255/50/19 and I am thinking of 20s, likely without lowering it. I cannot decide on whether to get the 20s and whether to lower or not. I love the look, and would love the sportier ride, but will also miss the plush ride of the 19s. Can't have both, I guess...

They're 295/40/20, came off a ml63 I'm guessing. Much better ride over the 22's, but not good as stock height. I can handle the 20's or 22's, but not the stock height. Good luck.
