DDM HID Kit 55W
I'm about to buy the 55w DDM HID kit and was wondering do I need all these stuff they offer at checkout page?
The site list some stuff to buy extra like:
HID Harness
Error Eliminator
Adaptor cables
I know I'll need the resistors to get rid of the error codes but will I need the harness and the adaptor cables? I thought the HID kit already has hid harness? or is it something different?

For my '11 ML the DDM kit did ot fit. The stem of the DDM HID bulb assembly is round and will not fit the H7 retaining clip used in our headlights. Even if you purchased the "aftermarket" retaining clips that allow the wires to pass through the DDM bulbs will not fit. Look for another kit whose bulb base is rectangular, not round. By the way, the aftermarket clips don't work either - by providing the slit in the clip designed to let the wires pass through, the clip will bend and cannot even hold the OEM halogen bulb securely in the headlight. I found all this out the hard way. Good thing with DDM, they refunded the purchase, but refused to refund the $15 shipping even though their web site "guarantees" fit. I disputed via my credit card who made me whole. Go Chase.
Don't go higher than 5K; my 6K is too blue and though it may look nice at first, the light is hard for vision. Nevertheless, the HID 55W puts out a ton of light and even though the beam pattern is not that of true HID systems, coverage (including lateral) is greatly expanded. And, I have yet to be flashed by a single oncoming car even without reaiming. Hope this helps.
