Just bought a '10 ML350 and have questions
On impulse for a great xmas present i went out and bought my wife a ml350. She was ecstatic so all good on that end. I have some questions and need some help if possible.
1. Navigation issue. in my e350 i can change the volume on the navigation voice and also fade the music while she gives me directions. I dont see an option where this is possible in the new nav system. So while im driving the music is loud and i cant hear the nav voice. what am i missing?
2. I have a rear view camera. It looks like the sensors are all there on the bottom of both front and rear bumber for a beep warning if you get to close to an object but nothing ever happens. Is this another setting i can change? I would figure if it had a camera it would also warn you.
3. Does anyone have experience on installing screens on the back of the headrests to be able to play dvds while in motion for the kids?

went to the website and watched the videos that looks awesome. Any idea on cost? does it mess up the navigation at all? any history of it screwing up the comand unit?

i think i have an issue because while she is giiving driving instructions the music does not fade out. music stays the same volume and she talks at same volume. any ideas?

Sorry, but you have an issue. It should fade the music when "Glenda" talks, then bring the music back. Time to put that CPO warranty to work. Dealer will probably update your software. That clears up a ton of silly things.
Never bought any of Mid City's stuff as yet, so no answer on cost. But they do have cool toys. From what others say, it's seamless with what you have.

Audio Fade In
My ML is in the shop so I had to look it up in the on line owners manual. Under the NAVI tab drop it down using the arrows and OK button on the lower right and then scroll down and select AUDIO FADE OUT. Make sure it is selected.
That should do it.
It is on page 61 of the 2010 COMMAND Owners manual

Hey did it work?
I have a question for you . Do you ever notice at speed such as 80-84 you hear a type of moan/vibration noise from your running boards? I have my ML in the shop and they swear that is where it is coming from. They are removing them and driving it again tomorrow to see if that is where it is coming from... frustrating

Yes as to how that may be a bit of a find. On my 11 GLK 350 under one of the preferences menu u could. On the ML it may be a dealer progam option. I will look when I get my 10 ML back from the dealer. Now here is one point to consider Mercedes seems to have done away with the cool european sounding chirp and alarm horn in favor of the blah car horn sounding. ON my GLK hearing it honk 3 times was obnoxious so I left it off. It is also off on my ML.
