no digital display of the clock, you only get the one analog in the dash....my 2007 don't have the digital clock either

You can retrofit the newer COMAND system (NTG 2.5). It has a digital display of the time. But I guess that would be a little over the top just to get a digital time display.

the digital clock is always in your Comand display. Look at the lower right corner.

It's not only the lack of a digital clock, there is no time/distance when a route is displayed, nor any engine functions (oil pressure, temp) Yes I do know that you can display the eng temp in the DIC. The other thing that bothers me is that the Tac/Speedo are on the opposite of all our other vehicles.

And yes I'm thinking of updating the Command to the HD (if it can be done).

Must be a German design thing. The speedo and tac are also positioned like that in BMWs. Come to think of it Italian cars have the speedo on the left too so it must be a European design thing.

I have one nice used 2008 Comand head without Navigation. The DVD navigation drive is just plug-and-play from your old 06-07 Comand head. The removal of the old head unit and installation of the new one will take about 30 minutes without any special tools. Anyone likes it, PM me. Thanks.

Honestly, it's totally one thing I am bummed about in my 2007 that I just bought 2 days ago... But oh well. I'll get used to it.

Also, Hi from Portland.

Wow, I'm glad my first ML owners experience is my 09 ML550! Frankly, I can't find anything wrong with.

Wrap the relay in foam. Ask dealer mechanic if this is good idea, first, as there could be a heat issue.

Do you know a place I can get a mattress through which I can't feel the pea?
