Back again with new PICS

Hi all...Back again with some new pics of the upgrades ive done to my 2011 ML350 4Matic. Pics were taken with my iPhone so bare with me and its HDR mannerisms...

Upgrades include:

1. Powder Coated stock 19" rims
2. Light Tinting to the front driver and passenger windows
3. Darkened Tail lamps and markers
4. Removed stock mufflers and added high air flow resonators and chrome tips (makes it sound a bit throatier.
5. 8k HID Kits for headlights and fog lights (not coming out mating on pics for some reason)
6. K&N Air Filters (2)
7. ML63 AMG Front face lift including front bumper and grill (excluding headlamps)

Let me know what you guys think...would love to hear from others with projects similar to mine...

Looks awesome! Did you tint your tail lights with vinyl film or paint? Also, what brand resonator did you use?

thanks buddy...i really appreciate it!

the lights were painted...and i used a stainless steel straight pipes to flowmaster resonators that a buddy of mine had laying aroumd had it without the resonators but it was too loud for everyday driving...but MAN WHAT A SOUND!!! People either really loved it or really hated it. i found a happy medium

You did a good job, looks nice. Looks like the powder coat came out pretty nice as well.

what is this fad with black wheels? they remind me of steelies.

But two things, get a nice set of wheels and some better exhaust tips. Other than that it looks good.

I think the black wheel thing is a matter of preference... I feel on a white car, black wheels look nice...I also have the black interior so i think it all ties together pretty well.. The tips are a good idea to change but im waiting to see whether or not i pull the trigger on getting the AMG Bumper installed as well, where as Id be putting the dual double tips.

Though I dont think it looks terrible the way it is. hahaha

Matter of preference I guess...

IMO - sometimes black wheels look like plain steel wheels in photos. To really appreciate them you have to see them in person. They will look a lot different.

I think these look really good especially on white along with the other mods that were done…..Very nice looking ML

Thanks buddy....I agree with the "picture/in person" perspectives...everything on my car is either White, Black, or chrome...excluding tail lights and headlights though the tail lights were darkened...

I just ordered OEM LED Taillights from mercedes, dont know if i should darken them as i darkened the previous pair.

Any thoughts?

Mercedes
I wouldn't darken the OEM LED taillights. They look cool the way they are.

But go for the AMG rear bumper and the quad tips. It'll complete the look.

Your ride would look like the white twin of my black W164!

Maybe you could do the chrome Insert in the AMG bumper in matte black? I think I got a pic of a white ML with that insert blacked out. Looks quite hot... Let me see if I can find that pic.

That really sounds like a good idea. ...

As for the LED Taillights ... Won't it look off since the markers and third brake light is darkened already??

Please send the pic.

Definately tint the OEM tails, it'd be a very unique look. You might want to leave the clear area (reverse light and turn signal) untinted IMO!

If I was spending the money for the OEM LED taillights I probably wounld'nt darken them at first.

I would Install them and leave them stock for a while and then at a later date you can darken them if you want a change.
