2010 ML350 BlueTec
OEM Rim Specs?
I've searched around but haven't been able to find the answer I'm looking for....
I'm considering a set of aftermarket rims that are the following specs:
19*8.5
35 offset
5*112 bolt pattern.
I'm curious to know how the width and offset compares to the OEM rims on a 2010 350 BlueTec.
Does anyone know the specs of the original rims?
Thanks!

yes, they do come out a little further from the hub - but not beyond the fender lip. I had the EOM tire mounted on these wheels 265/45-20.
I will shortly be in need of new tires and that size is limited. So, I've thought about 275/45 but I'm concerned the extra width just might be enough to put it just beyond the fender lip.

I used 275/45 on my 20's...love this look so much better. Gives you about a extra 3/4-1" of tire height. That with the 10 inch rims, really fills out the wheel well and makes it look very aggressive.
just getting my 550 finished this week, blacking out the whole thing. She is at the bodyshop right now getting all her chrome smoked..should come out looking like a gunmetal type chrome look.

Your size also results in a small speedo error.
Finally, not sure what your EOM tire/wheels are, but assuming stock 20", your size tires only provide a little over 11/32" additional height.

stock tire size, like most ML's... is 255/50/19... stock height of this tire is 29.04"...my new tire size is 29.74"... so .70" instead of .75...god so freaking nit picky.
As for offsets, here you go for the w164 class:
with a offset of 35..you will extend about a extra 23mm out...keep in mind there is 25mm in a inch. so slightly less then a inch. this will make it look more aggressive...not stupid. trust me on this one. the stock stance is about a 1 inch inward from the top of the fender
stock offset - 19x8.5 (58) 255/50R19
*was going to post a whole chart, but this thing is being nitpicky..sorry for the edit

just trying to give the OP as accurate info as possible. If I was shelling out big bucks for wheels/tires I would sure want to make sure I understood as precisely as possible how they were going to fit.
what is the offset on your 20" wheels? I would think 275/45 on these "35" wheels we're discussing might just extend beyond the fender.

Since you didn't state what your stock wheel/tire was...I clearly stated I used 20" as a base, accordingly my numbers were different from yours.
