I have a 07 ML 350 that is need of a battery change. Called RA and they quoted over $300 for the dealer battery, seems as if I can get it much cheaper and install myself.

I have read that Advance Auto Parts is overpriced, but they currently are running a sale and could save a little on the battery. When I originally looked into models that fit, their site said this was the one:

However, when I went to purchase, this is no longer listed as one that fits. Can someone clarify what size battery I need. Everywhere seems to say AGM H8, which this battery is. Any clarification or recommendations would be great. Thanks!

Dont really care to buy a battery at Walmart, but this is the one that apparently fits. Seems like the cheapest option.

Go with any decent AGM. The one here is not an AGM.

The first one is AGM...just want to make sure its the right fit. According to Advance, its not. But I cant find any info otherwise...

Shows a Group 49 AGM which seems to cross references to an H8 AGM, but I don't know what the (probable subtle and unimportant) differences may be.


EDIT:
Seems like H8 (DIN) and Group 49 (US) are interchangeable.

The one in the first post from Advance Auto Parts is going to be $155 with their current promo, just wanted to make sure that was the proper one.

Exactly...when I first checked online, thats the first one that came up to fit the model I put in their system. I called them to make sure they could change it out for me, and they said over the phone that the battery was not coming up for a 07 ML. When I went back to check online this morning to purchase it, now its saying its not correct. So im lost at this point...
