EGR delete DPF delete Adblue delete

How is this so hard for me to find? Has nobody done this? I want to do this to my 2011 ML350 bluetec, as it's now out of warranty. If not, i'll just unload it, but I was hoping to keep it for longer.

I haven't heard of anyone doing an ad blue delete yet. EGR and DPF deletes are fairly common on pre-BlueTec, but in general it looks like no ones really tackled the BlueTec's yet.

the dpf delete and egr delete and done with an ecu flash if you get it remapped for performance. an "scr emulator" board will kill the bluetec. fools the computer with fake signals.

Give the guys at Green Diesel Engineering a call.

In this respect the Jeep guys are light years ahead.
Tons of options to do EGR/Def deletes on both OM641 and ECODiesel

I think the arrests in Germany and the US related to trying to fake emissions data is probably a good indicator of the answer to this question.

I did on my 2 w164th and few friends did same. Added module emulator for bluetec. Cost about 600-700$ and you dont want any cheap ones done. Dont even waste time experimenting just get trusted unit ones. It basically shuts down bluetec system so never fill tank again. Pass emission test no problem because computer shows it in working order..

Has been discussed in many other threads in this W164 sub forum , W163 and 166 sections. I so depends where you are located these are in Canada but have dealers in the US .
https://chiptuning.ca/#https://chipt...log/5/87/98/70 or https://malonetuning.com/ecu-tuning/mercedes-smart-cdi

ECU Tune can delete the software running the systems for EGR , Ad Blue , Swirl Flaps , DPF and SCR . After the tune EGR and adblue controller get un plugged.

Then need the hardware deletes for DPF/ SCR with a straight pipe and the EGR delete kit .

I had this done 4 months ago since my ad blue heater stopped working. I did a ad blue delete and increased my torque by 100 and got 70 more hp. Drives like a dream. Got it done for 1400 CAD by a shop that’s in the ghetto. Now I don’t have to worry about that stupid adblue system at all anymore. Also other shops were quoting me 1500 to fix the adblue heater so this was a cheaper alternative and I got to increase my performance. If I just did the adblue delete it would’ve been 1000 CAD. Only downside is that my drl doesn’t work but no issue as I just have to turn my lights on myself. Not a deal breaker.

Where did you get it done?
My Ad Blue heater also went 2 weeks after I bought it, and was the 4th time according to the service history on my ML350
Ontario did away with the Emissions for Passanger vehciles last April so don't have to worry about testing anymore.

The shop is in Alberta . It’s located not in the best area. But I would trust these guys with any euro vehicle any day and they are super friendly. You might find one in ontario that may be similar. Ad blue delete for 1000 is very cheap though. They give stellar prices. Mercedes won’t do it at all because it’s against policy or something. However they guessed the job would cost around 4-5k (with the performance increase). So, just have to shop around! Good luck!! Let me know if you got any other questions.

Oh , mine has been done since the week after I bought it when the AdBlue heater went for a ***** .
Tuned and deleted with a straight pipe.
BuzzKen out of Toronto was awesome ( I live an hour and 1/2 from Toronto) , he makes the pipes and performs the tune from JR or Malone , he recommended JR which i went with.

Looking to do the physical EGR delete from CB Engineering now and clean the EGR path , and maybe a catch can to remove the CCV .

Where did you have your work done? When I search for BuzzKen all I get are sites that sell the pipes online. Thanks!

I'll answer my own question and provide an update...

I found a place in Markham that does diesel engine tuning. They apply Malone tuning and other computer updates. Prices vary depending on the amount of updates. Giles Performance Diesel 187 Steelcase Rd. However I'm in the west end so wanted a place west of Toronto.

After some research I found JR Auto Tuning Performance (chiptuning.ca) that will do a performance tune. I took my GL350 to European Automotive (https://europeanautomotive.ca) who is a full service shop that works with JR Auto Tuning. EA did the diagnostics on the GL, walked me through options and recommendations, and applied the JR maps to my ECU and did module disconnects. I went with the performance tune and some deletes to address a CEL and avoid future issues.

I thought the BuzzKen exhaust was a bit overkill, but can always revisit that decision if I run into trouble with my DPF. I am going to periodically use a DPF cleaner additive and make sure to give the GL a boot on the highway to hopefully clean out the DPF from time to time. Hopefully that will work to avoid any future issues with the DPF.

Is there a surefire way of getting a hold of CB Engineering?? There don't seem to be any other shops that offer delete kits like them. If not, maybe someone could walk me through what each part is necessary to replicate that 2014 ml350 egr delete kit. I have access to a +$2,000,000 machine shop and can fabricate pretty much anything.

Great advice on EGR/DPF delete for Mercedes CDI's. Green Diesel Engineering is a good option for 07/08 models and there are other tuners available for later years. EGR delete can increase horsepower and torque and improve transmission settings. Cummins EGR delete is also an option to consider. DPF delete pipe from CB engineering is a good option for GL/ML models and also allows for use of better protecting oil. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge, it's always helpful to hear from others who have gone through this process.
