2011 ML350 head unit antenna connection
Gentlemen,
I have a 2011 ML350.
I replaced the OEM radio (in the pics below) with an aftermarket. I have problems with the FM antenna. I have read the theory over a lot of threads but ... this 2011 version may be different.
I still do not know which one is the FM antenna connector. All threads point towards the pair of white connectors circled in yellow but my head units does not have anything connected there. By exclusion I conclude that it may be the Blue/ Green/Yellow or even something connected to the red circled connector (which has some coaxial wires connected).
a) Can anybody tell me where is my FM antenna connected?
b) Do you have the schematic for the connector circled with red?
Thanks,

2011 ML350 W164 antenna connection for Andoid
I recenlty updated my stock MB head unit, BZ9841, with an android. My head unit.It is a bassic HD radio without an amplifier.
There iwere no Fakra connecctors on the 2 white connectors. As suggested, I bought an amplified antenna. Reception was still poor. Search returned only 3-6 stations.
I was closing the unit when another search of the small MB revealed a hidden a Fakra connector that had a sponge cover over it,
I connected the fakra connector from the small MB connector to the anteenna dand connected the antenna to the android unit. When I did a search, 15 stations weere found that came in quite clearly.
