There are two fuel level sensors, one on each side of the fuel tank and are controlled by the rear SAM.

The codes must be read with a scanner to determine which one it is, codes 90DA, B, C & D.

I do have scanner but it does not see any code? Maybe it can be scanned by dealer?

If you only have a code reader, it is only good for reading ECM codes and nothing else.

You need a scanner that will read all of the 28 modules in your truck.

I took a quick look at the AL619 and it only appears to cover ECM, ABS and SRS.

1. Bside this problem I do have another message I can read with my scanner = P0408.

I clean EGR valve and message is still there.

2. I also have 2003 S500 with SRS R12/3, does it really mean Clock spring is bad.

The code says that the right rear (passenger) fuel level sensor, which is part of the fuel pump, is defective and must be replaced.

If you have the same codes, then you must replace the fuel pump.

If you don't, then the codes must be read.
