Clunk on the front left???

Hi fello ML'ers, im after some advice, not sure if i have an actual problem or its normal? when i go on full lock left or right at about 8ish mph theres a clunk from the front left somewere and the car seems to lurch slightly? iv jacked it up and crowbared everything that moves and there is no play anywere? everything is solid, also the front left wheel seems to taper in at the top very very slightly, wheel bearing is spot on and cant see any way of adjusting it? has anyone else had these problems and fixed them??
Thanks for reading guys n gals, i look forward to any help posible👍👍👍

Let's start with correcting the vehicle in your profile.......ML360 d does not exist.

Please UPDATE YOUR PROFILE in USER CP to include the year, model (350 Gas, diesel or BlueTec) and where you live.

I actually have a similar situation, I was moving my car out of the driveway and turned the wheel one full turn to the right and heard a thud. I was thinking I rolled over a small twig as I have a tree in my front yard, but I moved forward a little more and heard it about two or three times more. I didn't see any twigs or anything on the ground. So I did a complete uturn and heard it again. Drove the car around 3-4 blocks and didn't hear anything else after. I just got the car yesterday, so I'm not sure if it's a known issue?

Your profile does not include UK. This is very important because it designates that you have right hand drive.

Yeah, the wheels are straight. I'm actually going to the dealer and have them look at it, I'm going to purchase some wheel locks. I literally just got the car Friday and drove it home.

Clunking problems are are difficult to find without the suspension compressed. This can only be done on an alignment shop.

As for the left front tire is leaning in, it means that your camber settings are off. Both problems will be corrected at the alignment shop.

So I'm an idiot. I got the car and drove it straight home, I didn't really sit down with the rep and have them go through the car with me or anything. But it's summer tires on the car, and I live in NY, so in the morning when the tires are cold.
