Trunk Release button (RED) not working ...
I need help fpr a '09 ML350. I can open my trunk remotely from the driver's side door, the key remote, and the trunk release handle, but i can NOT close it remotely/eclectronically.. only way to close it is manually.
Could the switch be bad?

Maj, Yes it is ... it was working intermittently before it stopped working ....thanks!

I would think that if it is illuminated, then that wouldn't be the problem.

Either have the codes read or remove everything in the spare tire area, including the gray mat and see if there is water damage to the pump and or the closing module.

Thanks, I will check later today.

I forgot to say that I can open the trunk with the door latch, and remote control, but can not close it by remote control nor the door latch
