Help! Parking brake expander part number.

Help! Parking brake expander part number.
Hi all,

I was hoping someone can help me find a part number for the parking brake. The part I'm looking for is the expander that the cable connects to and that spreads the pads when the pedal is pressed. I need one for both sides, but I think they are the same.

Your help is much appreciated.

It’s actually a 2008 R320, but it has the same brake components as the ML and GL. I thought I would post here because I’ll get a better response.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, that doesn’t show any of the parts I need.

I just ordered them from the dealer. They call them the shackle wedge. $35 each.

Hi all,

For those who may have been following this, the correct part number is 164-420-00-74
This is the same part for models W251, W164 and X164
This is known as an expansion lock, wedge, expander, etc
