Question Ml320 Front jacking point

Hi, I’m looking to Jack my w164 up at the front and put it on jack stands while I work on the brakes/rotors etc, is this strut a suitable jacking point?

Is this a suitable jacking point?

Thanks for your response Maj, I was hoping to put the jack stands at the jacking points, - is there a pdf showing where a trolley jack can be used to lift the front of the car allowing me to place the jack stands?

You use the trolley jack at the jacking points and then place a jack stand under the lower control arm.

Isn't the front jacking point on the the rounded rectangular shape, pierced with a hole, forward of the red circle in the original post?

Mercedes are simply not designed for driveway maintenance using jack stands. Hence, there is no front jacking point.

There are some inexpensive 4-point jacks available, some even listed by Home Depot.

@lkchris Are you sure about this? Is your comment directed toward the W164, other models, or all M-B models?
