Hello,
Getting a misfire (p0302), likely will change the #2 coil, and throw in a new set of spark plugs while I'm at it.
Can anyone tell me what is the actual non Mercedes part number of the spark plugs in ML350 M272 Engine?
Mercedes lists them as 004159180326 and typically overpriced, like $15-$20 each.
It appears they are Bosch (or are they?). What's the mfg part number?
Anyone have a good cross reference chart for Mercedes to (whatever brand)
spark plugs? My C230 uses NGK from the factory?
What about the ML ?
EDIT: I think I found the part number.... Bosch YR7MPP33 ?
Sound about right to anyone?

The one time I ask for help instead of giving it

Correct Bosch spark plugs for Mercedes are only available from Mercedes dealers and are imported from Germany.
Bosch spark plugs sold in ‘merikun flaps are not made in Germany and are not actually correct because they are resistor plugs.

Look it up on Rockauto.com they list the different quality levels of plugs for you. I prefer NGK platinum or iridium (closest to oem type)
Ended up using the Bosch ones sold at local auto store.
Didn't have time to mess around. Wanted to order from dealer but they didn't have
everything in stock, needed a coilpack too,
so screw it. "Get 'er done". Local NAPA had everything by the next morning.
Also was in need of a new batteries, both of them, air filters and oil.
Got the air filters from RA, 14 bucks for the pair. Hengst even.
Such a deal.
Runs like a top now. resistor or not. ECU re-adapted after a couple hundred miles.
Barely touch the gas pedal and she just want to go go go! Been a while since it felt like that..
