iCarsoft V3.0: ESP Inoperative. Code reading?

As title states, I've had this machine since September and have serious difficulties understanding what is it that I need to replace? The ESP inoperative is sporadic, and comes on time to time.

Here's a some pictures that I have taken from the fault, can anyone give me an idea if your familiar with reading codes to tell me what is it that I am looking at? Any info would happily appreciated. Thanks

I'd avoid doing the "quick test". My Icarsoft (V2) doesnt give you the same level of detail as you would get when you do the deeper module by module scan. With respect to the ESP problem, that is typically related to an ABS sensor on one of the wheels. My experience has been that a troublesome ABS Sensor can then trigger a transmission code if it sends it into "limp home" mode. Did that occur? With my stuation, I got ESP warning lights, but no check engine light, and one code only being the ABS wheel sensor. I'd look there under the ESP area of the scanner if you haven't already.

The other codes that you've shown don't seem to relate to the ESP fault. Also, a scan tool won't tell you what to change, its just there to point you in a direction. At this point, I'd clear all the codes (on a module by module basis) and then see what reappears.

iCarsoft Sucks big time for me, I purchased Foxwell NT510 elite and it actually performs more and easier to understand. It actually does the ESP "test", also I havent pinpoint it, but I actually believe its the battery, It's still OEM and havent changed since 2010. When I get that change, will let you know!

Battery and charging system always the spot to start. Even a small drop in voltage for a few seconds can disable a module as many have a minimum voltage threshold to meet or they turn off/go crazy.

really good inputs there mate. FYI, there are plenty of information about vampiric loads on batteries as well. BlackML550 even did a good thread here about it.

Interesting observation re: icarsoft. I had heard decent things about it over the past few years. I use an Autel Pro unit that still makes my head spin but I muddle thru it. It has pinpointed my speed sensors in the past as well as a few other things.

Ive got the icarsoft MB V2. It's useful but is not easy to quickly pinpoint issues or simply give you a list of codes. I have to do a complete scan and then search module by module for faults. If I had my time again, Id buy something else and would look toward the Autels that seem to be easier to use and appropriate for the vehicle.

On your recommendation, I got the Foxwell scanner and it crashed my COMAND unit (or maybe my aftermarket CarPlay unit). Eventually, I got things working again, but only after pulling fuses and disconnect and reconnecting the CarPlay unit. That never happened with iCarsoft or my Autel scanners.

The iCarsoft MB V3 is MUCH better than MBII and well worth the extra dollars.

I have both the iCarsoft MB V3 and the Autel MaxiDAS DS808. The iCarsoft stays in my car and the Autel is for home use because of its size.

If you could only choose 1, which one is better?

It's been a long while since I posted that. Since then, things have changed. It really depends on what you are trying to do.

If you want a serious tool to diagnose and fix electronic problems, activate, adapt and calibrate control modules, make configuration changes, etc., the best is XENTRY from @BenzNinja. With BenzNinja, you get dealer-level (and better) support remotely and virtually from anywhere and anytime (as long as you have an internet connection).

If you want a small, compact, portable keep-in-your-vehicle, yet powerful scanner, I think the best scanner right now is the LAUNCH Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ from Amazon.

Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad X260 on Amazon, ~$175 or less.
C4 Multiplexer w/ DoIP: ~$450 or less. Example ONLY https://www.obdii.shop/goods-5-C4-MB...RoCtfMQAvD_BwE
XENTRY and associated Software: ~$85 from @BenzNinja (plus club membership). (You need to confirm pricing and other benefits with BenzNinja. I would check with BenzNinja before buying anything and get his recommendations.)

Keep in mind that the MB Star Diagnostics System (i.e., XENTRY) is a dealer-level tool, which normally would cost thousands of dollars. Membership in the BenzNinja club gives you access to dealer/factory level programming, as well.
