Window wiper problems ML w164
Good evening.
I have an issue with the front window wipers on my ML 164, 320, 2009 model. The wipers are working occasionally on some of the functions, such as on the interval, or when pressing the window washer, and sometimes stop working at all. When not working at all, it might function after stopping the car, open and closing the door and starting the car again. Seems as a kind of reset. But still not on all functions such as low and high speed (even it work on this functions sometimes). Checked the aft SAM box and no sign of humidity. My friend had similar problems some years ago and changed out a wet aft SAM box.
1. Are the front wipers connected to the front or rear SAM box?
2. Could the problem be in the SAM box, in the relay, in the switch on the steering wheel, even the windscreen wiper motor (lack of grounding, worn brushes or similar) or in the wiring, or rain sensor?
