I just passed on our immaculate ML550 to my wife as her car replacement. Her pet peeve is she cant stream spotify. Is there any easy plug and play bluetooth module that can resolve this?
FYI our system has the MOST Fiber Optic setup but no Auxiliary port in the glove box.

I went with this one from Amazon for my ‘09 ML63 (W164). But it did indeed plug into a port in the glove box, so I’d be surprised if you don’t have the same thing. 🤷♂️. But this unit works great although it seems to fight with the MB Bluetooth in the rare occasions I take a phone call in the MB. I found it easier to just not connect to the MB Bluetooth (and only connect to this adapter) since I don’t take a lot of calls after hours…I’d rather have the streaming music lol
I'm pretty sure my 11 550 had a cable that plugged into the connector at the top left of the glove compartment in the attached picture but I replaced the head unit early on and I don't remember if it was Aux or Apple. If you have that, you can get a bluetooth module that plugs into the cable off Amazon that will allow you to stream via bluetooth. If you don't have some kind of connector, Double Din head units drop in with an installation kit, look reasonably "factory" and you'll be able to do other smartphone stuff via Android Auto or Carplay on the head unit screen rather than the phone. You'll also need a MOST converter to connect to the stock amp.

9104742[/url]]GUYS THANK YOU SO MUCH. It worked. And the quality of the sound is amazing. I can't believe all thee years I missed out on this. I ordered this one.
Now the Mrs. is on cloud 9. What a simple and cheap solution this all was. I'm not a fan of aftermarket systems. Tried them one to many times in past vehicles and they were always trouble. And I really love the stock OEM system that comes in the ML and didn't want to tamper with it.
Just got her a simple magnetic phone holder and viola. She now has Spotify streaming, Can watch vids etc. And it doesn't look at all intrusive. Sits very close to the centre dash above the OEM system. So she can use both when she wants at the same time.
And the mount is so slim it fits above the SD card slot so if yu still use your SD/CD setup you are good to go.
Just fitted this adapter to our car, how brilliant it is. I never realised the connector was in the glove box !
