My ‘09 ML63 is still running strong. Coming up on 95,000 miles. She’s on part time duty these days and always garaged.

2009 ML550. 117k miles. Running beautifully almost as strong as the day I got it at 30k miles. 4.5k mile oil changes helps. Uses no oil. Trans done every 30k all other fluids at 35k. Only things i've done - airbags/compressor, upper and lower arm bushes, radiator, ac compressor, and small maintenance items - hoses, plugs, overflow reservoir, 1 x cam position sensor, both rear tail lights (under warranty). Still love driving it.

2007 ML320 CDI
Just purchased a 2007 ML320CDI. First Mercedes product, and first SUV. Still working out what needs to be done and whats normal and what isn't (will make another post with these questions) I tend to drive older vehicles, so this is still 'new' to me.

I had 2009 ML350 4matic prior to this ML550.
It’s my daily and I go easy to mild offroad trails to camp!
No issues at all!

2010 ML350 182K Diesel.
Best car ever!! Sure I pay for the high mileage maintenance but that is still way cheaper than buying new one!

I just purchased a Tanzanite Blue 2007 ML500 model with 30,000 miles from new. Plan to keep it a long time as it was a replacement to our W211 we owned from new.

ML320 CDI W164
2008

2008 ML320 CDI with 133,000 miles. Just did Fuchs deep transmission pan upgrade, rack and pinion replaced, air filters, cabin filter, steering angle sensor. Getting ready to do transfer case fluid, differentials, and fuel filter. Sometime I need to do the coolant before summer.

Just bought the Icarsoft 4.0 for MB to keep Fiona running smoothly for another 130K.

W221 S500
2007 280CDI. A mere 208,000 miles on it. It's probably lasted this long because it doesn't have Airmatic or a sunroof😂

Purchased in August for peanuts with a list of issues, since evicted a mouse, stripped/cleaned/refitted the interior, retrofitted reversing camera and a folding tow hitch from a facelift W164 and been gradually catching up on the neglected maintenance. Next big job is the transfer case chain🫣

It's not the prettiest thing in the car park, but it gets the job done😎

Might sell it in the summer to finish off my W221 S500 project 🤔

2011 ML550 owned for 3.5 years after 12 years of GL550 ownership. 131,xxx miles and has required a starter, oil cooler and front axle (boot was ripped when I got it) since I picked it up with 87K miles. I replaced the stock shocks with Bilstein B4s, and wish I would have installed B6s in hindsight since the B4s are about as underdamped as the stock shocks. Great all around SUV and a steal for the price. Love the engine, the wildly over assisted steering not so much.

No pic, but over here in the UK I'm running a 2010 ML350 with 87,000 miles on the clock. Had to spend a bit of cash on it since I got it last year but a beautiful drive

2011 diesel purchased new in 2012 with 6 miles on the odometer, now reads 177k. Been through two timing chains and a balance shaft (2nd timing chain), AC compressor, oil filter housing, oil cooler seals, and a couple of sensors over the years. Until we picked up the GLS in '23 it was our workhorse, daily driving, boat towing, family trips a couple times a year.

2011 ML350 Bluetec
Mine is still running. 2011 W164 Bluetec here in Canada. Approaching 200,000KM (124,000 miles). Bought it in Summer of 2023. Its a beautiful car and I'm enjoying it.

Some issues:
- oil leak on the front of the engine. Replaced oil filter housing gasket but didn't help.
- power steering leak. Having to top of every month or so.
- have the following code: 20BD1B - the output for the heating element adblue tank has an electrical fault or open circuit. my CEL has been on for a while because of this code. Not sure what to do. Don't want to deal with the local stealership.

I'm having this stuff checked out at an indy mechanic tomorrow. Any suggestions are appreciated!

2013 ML350 Bluetec
2013 ML350 Bluetec still on the road

I have a 2013 ML350 Bluetec with 115k miles. Owned since 2016 and ~30k miles. Overall I have been very happy with the performance and functionality. I did go through the update on the emissions due to the VW scandal. Seemed to improve mileage slightly from 30MPG to 31 on long trips.
The oil cooler gaskets were a mess to replace at 80k miles. I let the dealer do this after watching a Youtube video of the process.
There seems to be a small oil leak again nd maybe an engine mount is needed. Today this stutter at low RPMs while accelerating started. No Check engine light, but rarely do problems just go away. There was an identical post on this stutter in 2023, but I did not see any responses.
Bottom line, I really love the diesel power and quiet presence of this configuration, but like any older vehicle, problems will start to pop up. Just a matter of seeing if you can keep up with them before you go under financially. Then it becomes some one else's find of the month:-)
