AMG Sport Package release
According to my dealer, US wholesale release of the AMG exterior package is scheduled for 1/23/12, so first models would arrive in February.

A good reason not to lease - you're not tied into "sell by" dates. Lighting package is supposed to be available in January, as well.

Enticing to wait. Dont think we can wait though. Any paperwork stating availability? Since old literature said march for lighting.
We lease for write offs, cheaper payments, $0 down, quick turn around of terms, and turn it in early sometimes too. It just works for us.

So Canada is definitely getting AMG 350s. Did they ever offer AMG styling on previous 350s in the US? I could see it happening now. Since almost every Benz I see on the road has it on: c class, e class. It this It's just the direction mb seems to be going with.

While it was listed in the original 2005 brochure, I'm not sure it was every offered in the US. The ML350 AMG Sport was available in Asia and Australia at least, though. If MB is smart they will make it an option in the US as they can probably get $5k for it.

We paid about 2K for the AMG 'styling package' for the GLK so that estimate seems pretty good. Also hoping they do indeed offer it as an option for the 350 as suspected...still haven't seen one in person but don't expect we'll like the standard version enough to buy. Must have the AMG styling (though I might swap the 20" AMG wheels from the GLK to the ML as we like those better than what we've seen in photos for the AMG styling so far...probably should check to see if they actually fit...).

from photos and seeing almost only BLACK (5-6) Paladium(2) with my eyes the AMG Style pack is a bit redundent in black.
Not a very visible differance. imo
Look at picks from YYZ in Toronto the mouldings don't POP at you in black

I agree, that's why we got black for now on our 2 year lease then white in AMG later.

Not for US except for V8
Just got word from my dealer's sales manager - US will only get the AMG Sports exterior package on the 550. Not an option on either 350. Sucks - I hate US auto marketing people sometimes.
