during a call. After a about 5 seconds it re-connects. Literally every call that lasts more than about 4 minutes.

Any ideas on how to correct this? Placement of the phone in the MB makes no difference.

Interesting - I had almost the same thing happen on my older Samsung phone but it dropped in and out constantly every 5-10 seconds. I thought I was being smart and removed the ML from my phone's bluetooth and tried to reestablish the pair but could not get it to work. I tried to get them to connect about 12 times and it was not possible. My other iPhone worked perfect so I had a good idea that I was doing things correctly.

Sorry, I am not offering anything to help but found it curious that this happened on someone elses Samsung phone.

Have you tried synching another phone. I have two phones synched to my ML. Neither are Samsung phones. I have not experienced this with either phone and most of the calls are more than 4 minutes. Just offering a suggestion. Hope this helps.

Anyone else with this issue. I saw previous posts. Is it the car or phone?
I re-synced the phone. Same thing happens.

No problems so far with my IPhone 4.

I have the same problem with my wife's Samsung phone. My HTC works fine, but her Samsung disconnects whenever I try to download her contact list.

More than likely it is your phone causing the problem

Same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S2 dropped and reconnected a few times, wifes iphone never had a problem so far. All I did to fix my issue was power off the bluetooth on my phone and turn it back on. For me this issue seemed to pop up if I already had my bluetooth running on my phone before I got into the car. I have been enabling the bluetooth after the car is on and have not had any issues since. Not sure if thats a fix or just coincidence.

Looks like it seems to be an issue for Samsung phones so far on this thread...

Works flawless on my iPhone 4s. Looks like it doesn't like Samsung...
