Rear latch not working

Rear latch not working
Half the time it works to open up the trunk, then It doesn't. Took to dealer and said the connection was loose, but still having the problem. Anyone else? Doesn't see like it since no one's posted about it.

My wife mentioned today that on a number of occasions ours has failed to engage the power lift and she had to do it manually. It unlocks OK, but doesn't lift itself. Similar to what yours is doing?

Simply pull the lever and release. If you hold the lever, the EASY-PACK power opening feature will not engage.

Yeah we've tried all the ways. Dealer said we had a loose connection and acknowledged the problem. So it wasn't just us. Now the problem still continues.

dealer reinstalled software on our car. we'll see if it fixed it.

Not fixed. It has intermittent lapses. When it doesn't work, the memory height doesnt work either. Then it resets and works again.

In my GL the only thing that solved this problem was replacement of the latch.

FiNally fixed. Some module was not sending the signal properly.
