I'd like to start a poll for the 2012 BLUETEC to see how common this issue is. Please vote so we as a collective group have power to ensure our dealer rectifies the issue.

NONE apply based on your descriptions.

I have an ML350 Bluetec starts fine, idles fine but after being put into gear after a cold start for the first 30 seconds hesitates and accelerates quite roughly, feels like its starving for fuel.

Its NOT a transmission issue as it does it right through the RPM range and doesn't feel like it has anything to do with trans.

Must be if that is the consensus but mine does it even if I manually select a gear using the levers on the wheel.

My new 550 arrived at the dealership today for delivery tomorrow so I won't be sticking with the BlueTec long enough for the fix.

You're going to print a poll from an enthusiast website and take it to your service department? I'm quite confident that when a fix is available, they'll be happy to help (they get paid to do so).

I would love to vote, but mine is not a starting problem. My issue happened 30 minutes into my trip. It, however, WAS extremely rough driving. Awaiting answer from MB. Car's in the shop at less than 1 week old. Should I start a new thread?

Yes, because I'm ordering a 2013 ml350 bluetec and I would like to know this issue is fixed!

Come on how about joining in the survey!
So far only 16 owners have logged in - there must be many more owners out there reading this page.
Why not participate even to say your car is great!!!

The vast majority of people who have had no problems with their MLs would not even be on this thread, so results of this poll should be taken with a [liberal] grain of salt

The good and the bad. Bad that it happened to you. Good that they are taking very good care of you. Really good news that they are trying to get to the bottom of the problem by examining the transmission.
