New Order 2013 ML350 Blutec Obsidian Black or Diamond White

Hi folks, I just ordered the 2013 ML350 Blutec,

Diamond White,
Premium pkg
Sports pkg
Driving Assist
Light Pkg
Open Pore Trim

I am struggling with exterior color iamond White or Obsidian black metallic, my SA told me that I still have time to change the color, it scheduled for June Production, I did not put running board on it as white ML looks more sporty with AMG appearance, any suggestion????? I saw some black ML on the road, it looks very sharp, I am thinking to change my order

That is a great config you have, and exactly like my original order except I was going for Calcite/Arctic White.

I had to cancel that order, and I'm going to be taking delivery of an Obsidian without the Sports and Light Packages very soon, because I really could not wait for practical reasons.

Both your color choices are great, and I agree that the AMG rocker panel looks much better than the running board.

All subjective of course, but I too was considering the Diamond White until I saw the regular Calcite/Arctic White in person. Please don't take this the wrong way, as it's just my personal opinion, but I thought the regular white made the ML much more masculine looking than the metallic white.

Whatever you decide, you are going to have a very nice ride!

P.S. This is my first post here too, though I've spent countless hours lurking while doing research.

I had the same dilemma. But, after owning 2 black SUV's before this one, I decided that I needed to stop polishing and buffing my cars every 3 months because of spider-webbing and other blemishes. I now have the Diamond white and its really easy to keep clean, much easier than black and the defects show much less.

Good luck, just my 2 cents.

My new diamond white 550 is now my favourite colour car of all that I've owned. It's just a beautiful look and it really glows in the sun. It gets dirty pretty quickly and shows it more than I thought it would but nowhere near as much as black shows it.

Thank you guys!

I was initially impressed by the MB ML launch, it was a white color with AMG body kit,,,it looks so good. however, when I saw some real black color ML, I was shocked, as the black color looks brighter and sporty.

My SA showed my Diamond white and regular white, it looks no difference, I might change my diamond white to regular white, and save me $890. what do you think?

I actually think about Calcite white as I could not see any difference, do you mean that the metallic white looks brighter at night? or under the sun? I heard that the white will look light yellow when it get older.

The pearl whites do have a bit of a yellowish cast, for better or worse. They shouldn't change over time AFAIK.

There is a difference. You do need to see them both live. Both are great colors.

I personally like the regular white over the metallic/pearl whites, as I associate the latter with soccer moms and country clubs (both of which I have a strong affinity to btw).
