I just had this fixed.
It drove me nuts. I'm a bigger guy. It would only do it for me not wifey. Took the dealership a few tries but they found it. Took a part off another one. I dont know which part. I'm in Toronto. If your here see the service mgr at downtown mb. Cheers.

I had a noisy seat belt. I'm 6'3" and is only did it for me. Was able to replicate it to the dealer and they just replaced the whole seat belt. That took care of it.

It's back. With a vengeance. I have a close friend who runs a high end body shop. He suggests it might be the floor pan flexing causing te seat to creak. It only happens to me I'm 280lbs. My wife is much smaller and the seat makes no noise for her.
This sucks.

I was able to hear mine in my left ear. It would happen when I was stopped and would squeak as I would breathe. Drove me nuts but my wife couldn't hear it because it was next to my left ear. I also didn't happen to her because she is a lot smaller than me.
Dealer could not duplicate the noise until I drove up there and showed them it only happens with me. Once they heard it they said no problem they will replace the seat belt. That took care of the problem. Hope this helps.

Ok...
Lboudreau: I appreciate the advice. I really do. However I didn't spend the money I spent so I can trouble shoot my car let alone have it spend over 2 weeks of the last 8 in the shop.
Katiesdad: my seatbelt does the exact same thing as yours. Exact same. It's been in twice for a repair. I think a replacement is in order.

Update
So the Service Manager has spoken to Germany. They are aware of some issues with the front of the seats. But none in the rear. They are coming on Thursday to pick up the car at my wife's work and take it for a drive. Germany has asked for video & audio of the seat creak.
I'm really getting pissed more and more. This is my first Benz. Last weekend I drove all the other diesels, Porsche, VW, & Audi but not BMW. After that test I was more convinced then ever I belonged in a Benz ML...

I had a similar sqeak in my 08. I lubricated the rear seat latches where the seatback locks onto the interior metal clip with vasoline.
Problem solved for over a year now. I though forever that it was the drivers seat then the rear hatch.
