Best color for the new M class
But now the MY13 I'm ordering will be Paladium Silver Metalic, since that also holds dirt well, but I think is better looking than beige.
I love Silver. My pick-up truck is silver and I think I will post a picture of both my truck and ML350 to show the difference yet the basic similarity of lighter colors. My second choice would have been Silver. I have not seen the Dakota Brown in person but I would love to. It is unusual and probably a stand out when properly polished. Ditto Capri Blue. I saw one go by me one time and it made my head turn but I have not seen one up close.
Arctic white is simply "too" white. It was my color of choice until I saw Diamond White in person, both under showroom lights and in the sun. When I saw it and compared it to Arctic white side by side I fell in love. The car I selected would have to have certain options with that paint color being a must. The depth of this rock hard paint is incredible. They say it has five layers of quality German paint and you can almost see all the layers, such is the depth of this paint. It is very expensive but worth it. Road dust and light dirt is virtually invisible which means less damage to the paint by my constantly having to wash and detail it. I'll see if I can post a picture or two.

I love Iridium silver, call me boring but it looks so good in any Mercedes SUV.
Palladium comes second.

Perhaps we should categorize this discussion by:
1) The best color newly off the lot and washed.
2) The best for not showing dirt or wear.

I think the best online site for viewing different colors in on the Cypress Mercedes Benz website, under the "360° driving experience" tab:
http://www.mercedes-benz.com.cy/cont...nce.flash.html
Why Cypress? Because it has the new MY13 Cinnabar Red as one of the choices.
Also, it allows you to spin the ML around and see the color in different light. And then you can have it drive off and tool around town, using your selected color.
I haven't been able to locate pages like this on the MBUSA website. The Canadian MB website has the "360° driving experience" tab but not the new Cinnabar color.

Neverless, I ordered white and will likely paint out the rockers. I also leaned toward Palladium, but my wife preferred white, and it will look nice with my white M3. I'd never own a black car again as a DD unless I could afford weekly detailing.
(Yes, I admit that I've wasted a lot of time visiting my local MB dealer at different times of the day.)
Fortunately I still do have an excellent ride until the delivery in October.
Today I'm very happy with [my] choices. The car is beautiful, drives like a dream and can tow really tow (it's a bluetec).
One funny thing... I was at the top of a hill that brought two perpendicular roads together. Lots of traffic. I stepped a little harder on the accelerator than planned and the car, to my surprise, burned rubber. Torque? I guess I'm learning the meaning of that term.
