When does ML350 change to 2013?

ML 350 Bluetech 2013 Loving it!
When does ML350 change to 2013?
I am a bit confused 
as to whether my ML350 will be a 2013 or a 2012 ?
And if it makes any difference ...2012 or 2013 ?
What is the difference ?
The expected production date is 1st August 2012 .
I really hope I it get it by the 21st September 2012 ,as it is my 50th Birthday and is a present from my wife/kids!I hope it comes in time as every one will be very disappointed if it does not !
They have given me a expected date 14th September to 2nd October 2012.
The lady in the garage said it was 2013 ...but I am a bit unsure... reading the threads what it actually means.Is it any better ?
This is a UK order. in Diamond white, with beige/almond leather /panoramic roof and running boards,air suspension ,rear camera,21" wheels , Xenon active lights they could not get the wooden steering for me .
I can not wait for it to come!!

Cool... I have a similar spec to yours but without the Running boards... I completely hated them as they got in the way everytime I got out of the car... I have gone for the Beige/Black interior rather then Beige/Almond.... I am expecting my car to be here around 3rd week of Oct... As to when it switches over to 2013, I have no idea....

Thanks for your help, The youtube video you have so kindly added says C350 C class coupe not ML350
I just was still not sure of the improvements and changes for any UK models. My built is 1st August so happy to hear it is 2013 but does it matter if no different ?
I have give a price , I would expect to pay that ...will it change ? You say a bt more expensive!

Video just shows how much better the new color screens and programing work. The AMG ML63 had it in 2012. UR agreed price should be the same. Those changes should be universal I guess. Prices are out now in Canada rose $1000 ur dealer should have updates for you. 13 worth wait just don't change order hahaha

The Yanks dont like Diesel and want a 2 wheel drive version so they dont get diesel builds till Oct......but 2WD started mid July
Europe and Canada are almost exclusive Diesel and 4matic
Mine builds Tuesday july 31 delayed 4 days from first quote.
They told you August it will be a 2013

I'm sure they will send it asap but we have release date thing they hold for. My guess is about sept 21 the dealer should be able to check online. Sales manager for sure
