And here is my 350. They certainly look similar (click on thumbnail below) and I agree, heads turn wherever I go. Depending where in LA you live, you probably get on I-20 to get to Plano. I live 25 miles north of it and about 40 miles due north of Tyler.
As far as I know, there are no clubs in East Texas although the Dallas area has clubs. I have a friend I visit in Dallas who is a Mercedes owner himself and to get to his house I have to sit at that long light at Forrest Ln. and Hillcrest. I always catch the red light at that intersection so I am sitting there for two minutes. During that time I can count 25 MBs going by me! I think the dealerships in Dallas/Ft. Worth area probably sell more MBs than any other dealerships in the country. Dealers like these have some clout and can do things as I described in my previous post. Smaller dealerships like we have out here do not have that kind of ability and for sure they don't deal price as well as these big city dealers. You probably found that true in LA as well.

2013 ML550 2014 CLS550
Took delivery yesterday on my 2013 ML550. Ordered vehicle in June, got built in October and released on 10/10, delivered to dealer on 10/25. Two weeks to get vehicle from Alabama to Michigan! All I can say to the faithful on this forum is the wait is well worth it!

Hello BigDog! I also am from the Michigan area. We also actually just picked up our 2013 ML550 about 2 weeks ago from Mb of St. Clair Shores. This car is replacing our GL450 we use to have. Hope to see you sometime soon on the road!

Update: I'm super happy with the ML550. Driving is so much more fun now.
One thing that I want everyone to know is that I got the Wheel and Tire protection, but wasn't so sure it was a good idea. Well, after two months, I got both of my passenger side wheels scratched up. It's a love and hate relationship with the 20" wheels. When I have time, I will have to bring the car to the dealership.
