I ordered 2013 ML 63 AMG and it will be built on Oct 15.

How long does it take for delivery to East Coast NY area?

I just wonder when I can get the delivery. Dealer says about a month at max.

Your dealer may have taken up a slot which was already on order or i do not wish to say but he may be stretching the truth.

I am not sure what the lead time in USA or other parts of the world but in UK it is about 5 months from order and 2 months from built date. This is the case I am in , Ordered end of May , Built in August first week and arriving hopefully my mid October ( Though not confirmed as the never give out a date even if you beg , request, threaten or cry.
I will be interested to know what the lead time is in different countries. It also has to do with the extras you have asked for such as Panoramic roof and intelligent lights .

I live on the west coast but my ML350 was built on 8/31 and delivered to the dealer on 9/20.

It's about 19 days here to the Northwest, so I'm guessing it has to be under two weeks on average to East coast.

I was told about a week for a vehicle in the Washington DC metro area.
My last 2 GL's came in exactly on the schedule my sales rep estimated, so I'm hopeful we will have our new ML about 10/07/12. Production date is allegedly 9/29 or thereabouts.

Mine hit order books when they opend for 2013 May I guess.
First allotment.
Built July 27 acording to Window sheet
Delivered to dealer in St Catharines today Sept 26
There was a delay for annual engine certification
Its loaded for a North American ML 350BT
With delays on parts it anyones guess on delivery.
Suffice to say anything more than base is a guessing game in NA
EU base is more loaded.
So if ordering more than base 250/350? ALL BETS ARE OFF
Should get it Monday Oct 1 pictures to follow since many ask about the Dakota/Citrine Brown and mine has Brown Leather which is outside the guide. Gorgeous inside and out together doors open different.
Thru the windows WOW all the black and dark brown inside makes the paint pop. Much nicer to me than beige/tan leather.

Dallas area reporting in. My 550 was built in early July and I picked it up at the dealership right at two weeks after the build date.

I ordered my 2013 ML350 on August 4th and the dealer let me know on that day my car will be built on September 23 and it'll take 5 days to built when it's complete, then it'll take 2 days delivery to the dealer and it'll need some software update and some set up. Got a call from dealer today that the car has arrived and I'll pick it up on this Saturday September 29.

For my 2012 ML350 Bluetec;

Build date was June 20th, 2012.

It was delivered to the dealer in Arlington, VA on the late afternoon of June 22nd, 2012

I drove it away on Saturday, June 23rd.

It was ordered in late April by modifying an existing order held by that dealer.

I should receive in about 2 weeks from build date. I am should be able to receive early Nov in NYC area.

Europe is different from US. For Europe your time estimates are correct. Ordered February 2012 for June 2012 production (start of RHD production for ML63). Changed to August slot for MY2013 (added Multi contour seats). It was built around 12th Sept and it is 2 months from then on for delivery. As far as I know EU spec cars are shipped first to UK, cleared into EU, and then sent to dealers.

I just got this info from my Dealer... Car is built and left the factory on the 11th Sep. It was shipped on the 27th Sep. Due to reach my dealer on the 23rd Oct. All dates quoted are 2012

Does this make it a model year 2013 or 2012??

Just heard from my sales rep.
Car went right through production as scheduled, and should be arriving at dealer this Friday afternoon. We can get it on Saturday if we are so inclined. I'm pretty sure my wife will be so inclined.

Lucky you , My car has reached Germany as it goes there before any car comes to UK . Has some work to be done on pano roof . It gets to UK port on 19th ...so they say. I hope and pray I get it by 24th as i have planned a trip in the holidays!

Just got a call from the dealer. My delivery has been put back from Sep 24 to Nov 10.

But I wonder if he really knows, as he tells me the ship is "Marshalling Yard Tuscaloosa". Now I wonder is this the name of a ship (big thing that floats on water) or if its still in a carpark in Alabama.

Marshelling yard is good means all parts installed. But the system is out of date as they are too busy working on delayed cars so URS could be at port or on ship.
