Chrome door handles- not Standard?
I was under impression that chrome door handles are standard on MLs? When I was ordering my car every ML had them( MY 12), and when my car finally arrived it didnt have them( MY13). Also a few MLs didn't have them as well on the lot. So where can I get them? I cannot seem to find the part numbers on them. There seems to be two types of these, I am talking about the thin chrome strips on the top part of the door handle , not the "Oval Cups" under the door handle. I found the oval cups for 95$ on the MBUSA, but the thin door handles are not on there.

I was looking for accessories this morning and saw the handle covers on Amazon ... I wasn't looking for them specifically but they were definitely there. I also didn't order the chrome package with the door cups and hood vents but figured it was dealer installed so I could always get it added.

Question on your 2013 ML - you choose not to order keyless Go, right ?
Metal/chrome door handles are "standard" as part of the Keyless Go feature - and frankly the 2013 ML's I have woirked with so far all had Keyless Go one way of another.
Yes - chrome door handle inserts/xups, and hood fins are accessory items. If you a ordering/buying a ML with these accessories the cost can be included in the cost of th vehicle.
If you have taken delivery already, and want to add these post-purcahse, they are a dealer ordered/installed item as well (stick on actually).

Those "thin strips above the door handle" won't be able to be added on by just sticking something on. You'll have to replace all handles and this will likely be cost prohibitive.
Like fabbrisd1 said it's part of the keyless go package.

Makes sense, yes no keyless go in mine. I guess i eBay it is, the chrome strips are not a must but would be a nice addition.

I have my order in and have been given a 11/26 for a build date... I asked after getting confirmation to add Keyless Go to my order but was told no changes were possible. Does this sound right?
